Last year was one of Allison’s busiest ever; we have aggressively addressed our capacity issues with the completion in April 2009 of our 350-by-90-foot Allison Fabrication shop. This unparalleled facility allows us to grow and expand the services to the offshore platform construction market, which will benefit from the controlled fabrication environment that allows us to work around-the-clock if necessary.
Allison has never forgotten how it got started however. We are proud to be one of the premier Marine Outfitting and repair locations in the Gulf of Mexico. Many of the clients we started working with 15 years ago keep coming back to us year after year. We truly value their business.
In addition to the Fabrication and Marine divisions at Allison we continue to expand our Scrap facility. This is another one of our very important core businesses started so many years ago. In 2010 we are adding yet another 500 ton crane to be installed at our facility in Amelia.
Allison Marine is a company whose goals have become reality. New visions are on the horizon for Allison Marine as we continue to grow relationships with our customers and consistently meet the ever-changing demands of the oilfield service industry. As the oil and gas business evolves, so will Allison Marine change to meet the new challenges presented.
